HARRY SARGENT

1914 -1918

Harry Sargent lived in Finch Hill, Bulmer in 1913.

His father a baker in Bulmer and his mother Ada came from Acton, and his father was a baker in Bulmer.

Harry had a sister Blanche, and a brother Bertie.

He was married to Florence Annie Sargent of 17A East St. Sudbury.

He was asmongst several children "Honourably mentioned" by the Diocesan Inspector as to Religious instruction of the school in August 1895.

Harry served with the Suffolk Regiment in France and was a Lance Corporal no 3/10017. He was killed in action on 20th March 1918 aged 32.

He is remembered with honour on the Arras Memorial                Panel reference – Bay 4
